Comedy Group All India Bakchod (AIB) has rolled out its advertising wing, Vigyapanti.

Tanmay Bhat will be 'Self Important Creative Officer'. The rest of the AIB team will work with the agency in 'some capacity', informed Bhat.

Six writers with an advertising background have joined the agency, he added. The agency will focus on small brands and start ups. Meanwhile, AIB will continue to work on content with bigger brands.

Speaking with Campaign India, Bhat said, "Through this wing we want to work with the smaller brands and start ups. We've currently hired six professionals from the advertising field. We want more. We are looking to hire young writers and are looking exclusively for writers. Writers who are sick of the agency rut, sick of CDs taking credit. We have started work on some start ups, who we can name soon. We are looking exclusively for young writers who are not having fun in the industry, who don't want to write mailers at 3 am and not pick the exact shade of green."

He added, "The problem was that a lot of writers didn't look at AIB as a job avenue. We've started working on start ups and now need some more. We have a team that's come on board. We have a bunch of real fun workers. If there’s any start up looking for an agency, we are the people for this."

The team currently consists of: 'Overpaid Creative Director' Girish Narayandass; 'Wannabe Author Creative Director' Devaiah Bopanna; 'Scam Loving Creative Director' Vignesh Raja; and 'Font Nazi Art Director' Mihir Lele.
