O&M brings the Pandas back in new Gems TVC

Cadbury has launced a TVC for its variant Gems Surprise. The TVC, created by Ogilvy & Mather, takes forward the Cadbury pandas for a promotional offer that the chocolate brand has launched for a new range of Ben10 toys.

In the TVC, two pandas are seen enjoying a packet of gems when suddenly two gems balls hit them. They sniff at it, and thinking that it is of no use to them, throw it away. The balls then bounce and flip open, from which the two Ben10 toys emerge. Fascinated by this, the duo take the toys and start playing with them. The previous campaign from Cadbury that used the pandas can be viewed here

Commenting about the new TVC, Vijay Sawant, creative director, Ogilvy & Mather India said, “The idea was to highlight the element of surprise and that’s reflected brilliantly in the film. It’s a riot of colour, playful interactions, fun and frolic. With Gems, Ben10 and the pandas, forget kids, even their parents will love the masti in the commercial.”

The production house for the film is Nirvana films and it has been produced by Vishal Mangalorkar.
