We caught up with Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and creative director, Ogilvy & Mather South Asia, on the first day of AdAsia 2011.

On a question about where India stands in the world order of creativity, he said, "I think we stand very, very tall and we should not measure ourselves by the international awards that we win. We should measure ourselves by what our people say about our advertising."

On the biggest challenges facing the industry, he replied, "I think it would be talent and the biggest challenge to attract the best talent is money, and the biggest challenge in the advertising industry is to try and come up with business remuneration models so that you're able to hire the best people."
