24 hours with… Pranav Agarwal

Ever wondered what an ideal day in the life of someone from advertising/marketing/media is? We're here to spill the beans on it.

Every Tuesday, we'll have a person from the advertising/marketing/media industry profiled in this section.

Name: Pranav Agarwal

Job: co-founder, Sociowash

Personal mantra: A simpler life is a better life, less is more.

Professional mantra: If you are ambitious, mediocrity is toxic.

6:30-7am: I wake up, without the need for an alarm, and begin my morning chores while checking work messages and emails.

7:30-8:15am: I dedicate some time to physical exercise, whether it's a yoga session to stretch and centre myself, a brisk morning run to get my blood pumping or a quick workout to energise my body for the day ahead.

8:15-9am: I enjoy a leisurely breakfast with my family, engaging in light conversation and bonding over a shared meal. While eating, I may watch something light-hearted or spend time researching my stock portfolio, combining relaxation with productivity.

9-9:30am: A refreshing shower to awaken my senses and start the day feeling fresh. I opt for comfortable and simple attire, preferably black, that sets the tone for a productive day ahead, allowing me to focus on tasks without distractions.

10-10:45am: I leave for work and listen to my favourite uplifting songs during my commute, boosting my mood and energising me for the rest of the day.

10:45am: I arrive at my workplace and prioritise spending time with the team I closely work with, fostering camaraderie and collaboration by engaging in brief discussions

11am- 2pm:  I engage in productive calls and meetings, collaborating with teams to plan and prioritise my tasks for the day. I take advantage of this time to strategise and make decisions that drive Sociowash’s progress.

2pm: I enjoy my lunch with the team, engaging in light-hearted conversations that extend beyond work-related topics. Fun fact: I have two to three options fixed for every meal and I only eat that everyday.

2:30-5pm:  I dive back into my work activities, ensuring that I stay fueled and energised with occasional tea breaks to keep my mind sharp and focused. Amidst the tasks at hand, I often find moments to unwind and recharge by engaging in a friendly game of table tennis with my team during breaks. These brief moments of camaraderie not only provide a refreshing break but also contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

5-9pm:  I resume my work tasks, maintaining momentum and staying productive until the end of the workday. I use this time to complete my meetings or address any last-minute issues that may arise.

9pm: I wrap up my work for the day and leave for home.

10pm: Reach home and have dinner.

10:45pm-12am: I unwind by indulging in personal interests, whether it's diving into a captivating book, enjoying a favorite TV show, or connecting with loved ones. This cherished time allows me to relax and recharge before bedtime.

12am: Before going to bed, I quickly check my messages and emails to ensure I'm not missing any urgent matters or important updates.
