Breaking News: Carat India hires Sushma Jhaveri as GM, West and South

Carat India has brought in Sushma Jhaveri as general manager, West and South. Jhaveri (pictured) comes in from TME where she was the vice president and head of strategy and training. At Carat, she will report to Kartik Iyer, managing director, Carat India. Iyer commented, "Sushma's strong background in strategic planning is tremendously synergistic with the core strengths of Carat and we look forward to her participation in our continued drive to grow the business in the region."

At Carat, she will report to Kartik Iyer, managing director, Carat India. Jhaveri, a commerce graduate, with an additional Law degree from Mumbai University, has more than 15 years of experience in the field of media services including planning, research, strategy and training.  She has worked with media agencies and research firms such as TME, Group M, Mindshare Fulcrum, Contract Advertising and Foundation for Research in Community Health across brands such as Colgate, HUL, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential, Colors, Star Network and Castrol.

Jhaveri said, "I am happy to join Carat, given its strong international network and powerful tools and processes. It's going to be challenging but I am confident that, with the talented team in place, we will significantly drive presence in the region."
