Maybelline launches 'Colossal Cabs', offers ‘glam’ rides

Mumbai college girls invited to tweet; college with maximum tweets wins service

Maybelline launches 'Colossal Cabs', offers ‘glam’ rides
Make-up brand Maybelline New York has launched what it labels the most 'glamorous mode of transport in Mumbai' - ‘Colossal Cabs’. The service was launched at college fests Malhar and Umang on 14 August. Through the initiative, girls could avail the cab to commute from college to the nearest railway station and back. In the cab, the girls could try out three products from Maybelline’s Colossal range.

During the two fests, Maybelline invited girls to click selfies and launched a contest around it. In the cab, the girls needed to upload a selfie on Facebook or Twitter with #colossalselfie. Three winners each day won a hamper. Those not using the cab could ‘Spot the Cab’ and share a picture with #SpotTheCab, again to win prizes.

The initiative is on till 12 September. Starting with two colleges, Maybelline Colossal Cabs can now be availed at any college basis activity on Twitter (votes and tweets). The college that garners maximum votes and tweets can avail the ride. The cabs are stationed outside the winning college for a day, helping girls commute from their college to the nearest train station or bus stop.
