(Updated) Cannes Lions 2016: Ogilvy tops Indian tally with Film Lions Gold, levels score with BBDO
 
On the last night of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2016, India added three metals to its tally. 
 
Film Lions
 
Ogilvy & Mather bagged a Gold for ‘Beauty Tips by Reshma’ for Make Love Not Scars in this category. 
 
BBDO's 'Dad's Share the Load' bagged a Bronze Film Lion.
 
Medulla Communications, which was adjudged Healthcare Agency of the Year at this year’s Lions Health, amassed 36 points, the most by an Indian agency.
 
Film Craft
 
India's solitary metal in this category went to Early Man Films for the Khali film for Ambuja Cements.
 
Also announced on the night were the Titanium and Integrated Lions. India had no metal in these categories.
 
Ogilvy edges past BBDO
 
While scores were level between Ogilvy & Mather and BBDO at the end of tabulation as per the Lions Festivals' calibration (revised tally below), the agency with more maximum metal is deemed to be ahead. With one Glass Lion and a Gold Lion, Ogilvy & Mather tops the Indian agency tally.

- Cannes Lions awards one point to shortlists that do not win metal, capped at 10 points per agency.
- In case of a campaign with multiple executions that wins, each execution among shortlists is also awarded a point. Cannes Lions has clarified that this does not fall under shortlist points, and hence the 10-point cap does not apply to such points.
- In case of agencies tied on score, the one with more maximum metals is deemed to be ahead.
