Only Indian entry among 17 shortlists

WARC Media Awards 2017: Mindshare India gets a shortlist in 'Effective Use of Tech'
The organisers of the WARC Media Awards have rolled out the first set of shortlists. From the 17 shortlists in the 'Effective Use of Tech' category, Mindshare's 'Our hearts beat as one' for Cornetto is India's lone shortlist.
 
Mindshare Sri Lanka's 'The campaign that saved 2,500 lives' for Softlogic Life Insurance is also in the running for an award.
 
Kristi Argyilan, SVP, media and guest engagement, Target, was the jury chair. 
 
She said, "As our jury examined the wide pool of cutting-edge work, we were struck by how marketers were utilising technology to humanize their brands and creating emotionally stirring programs that engaged while providing meaningful service to their audiences across every imaginable industry."
 
Shortlists of the three other categories - 'Effective Channel Integration', 'Effective Partnerships and Sponsorships' and 'Best Use of Data' will be announced shortly.
