Of 437 entries, 18 went on to bag Blue Elephants at the inaugural edition of Kyoorius Awards for design and communication announced on 29 August in Goa, while two of them were awarded Black Elephants (Best of Show).
The Black Elephant-winning entries were Temple Pavilion Installation by Abin Design Studio for Kishor Sangha Community, and ‘Dekho: Conversations on Design in India’ by Codesign Brand Consultants.
Alok Nanda & Company, Leo Burnett and Ogilvy & Mather bagged three Blue Elephants each, while Locopoco Design Studio bagged two. Other agencies to win awards were BBH India, DDB Mudra, Minus9, NH1 and Umbrella Design.
The awards, hosted in partnership with D&AD and the International Advertising Association India Chapter, were part of the ninth annual Kyoorius Designyatra, and were sponsored by ZEE.
