Srijib Mallik moves to McCann Worldgroup
McCann Worldgroup India has announced the appointment of Srijib Mallik as executive vice president and head of its Gurugram office.
 
Mallik joins the agency after a year-long stint with Cheil Worldwide, where he was heading the Samsung business.
 
Prasoon Joshi, chairperson, McCann Asia Pacific, CEO and CCO, McCann Worldgroup India, said, “Srijib comes with a range of experience, on leading brands as well as pursuing newer content and media development. His joining the McCann fold will add a new dimension to the organisation’s valued client relationships across the Gurugram operation.”
 
Mallik added, “I am excited to join MWG and lead the Gurugram operation. McCann under Prasoon's leadership is a creative powerhouse and I look forward to being part of the agency that moves people and in turn the market."
 
In a career spanning two decades, he has also worked with Wunderman Thompson, Creativeland Asia, Wieden+Kennedy and TBWA.
