Spikes Asia 2017: Taproot Dentsu is Indian 'Agency of the Year'

McCann (13) leads metal tally followed by Taproot Dentsu (10); Wieden + Kennedy, HPCL and Tata Capital also win Golds

Spikes Asia 2017: Taproot Dentsu is Indian 'Agency of the Year'
India bagged a total of 49 metals at Spikes Asia. Winners were announced at an awards gala in Singapore on 29 September.
 
McCann India led the tally with thirteen metals. This included a Grand Prix for Good for 'The Immunity Charm' for Ministry of Public Health Afghanistan. The agency also won two Golds, six Silvers and 4 Bronze. 
 
Taproot Dentsu also won a Grand Prix and the 'country agency of the year' title. The win came for Adidas in the Integrated category. The agency amassed a total of 10 metals, including a Gold, Silver and seven Bronze.
 
Wieden + Kennedy Delhi won a Gold for 'Da Da Ding' for Nike in the Films category. 
 
HPCL (Roads that Honk) won an Innovation Spikes, while and Tata Capital (Salaam Loans) won Gold.

Ogilvy & Mather bagged a Silver and Bronze Spike for Savlon's 'Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks'.

Tata Capital won a Gold Spike for 'Salaam Loans'.

Fleishman Hillard's 'School for Justice' for Free a girl movement won a Silver and Bronze Spike each. J. Walter Thompson was credited with the 'idea construction' for this entry.

ITC's Vivel Lotus Oil Soap bagged a Bronze as did Wieden+Kennedy for 'Da Da Ding' for Nike. 
 
Film 
 
Wieden+Kennedy bagged a Gold for Nike's 'Da Da Ding'. 
 
BBDO won Bronze for '#ReleaseThePressure' for Pepsico. 
 
Taproot Dentsu too won a Bronze for 'Tale of Two' for Adidas.

Indian agencies won a total of nine Spikes in this category.
 
McCann's 'The Immunity Charm' was among the metals in this category too. It bagged two Golds and a Bronze.
