Arthur Sadoun, the chief executive of Publicis Groupe, Laura Jordan Bambach, founder and chief creative officer of Uncharted Studio, and Tracey Barber, the global chief transformation and growth officer of Havas Creative Network, are among the new speakers to join the line-up for Campaign House at Cannes Lions.

Sadoun will take part in a sit-down interview with Gideon Spanier, UK editor-in-chief of Campaign, at 10am on day one of the festival (16 June) to explain why he has called for the industry to take a “different” approach at this year’s Cannes Lions amid the toughest economic conditions since the pandemic.

The CEO of the world’s biggest agency group will also discuss the future of the agency model during the session at Campaign House, which is located at the Canopy by Hilton Cannes hotel.

Jordan Bambach, the former president and chief creative officer of Grey London, who recently launched Uncharted Studio with an all-female leadership team, is joining Maisie McCabe, UK editor of Campaign, for a session on Lions-winning creative leadership at 2pm on day one.

Barber is taking part in a session about the agency new-business market and clients’ changing needs, with Kate Magee, global intelligence editor of Campaign Red, and Olivier Gauthier, founder of COMvergence, at 3.30pm on day two (17 June).

Campaign, the world’s biggest advertising industry title, is hosting editorial and partner events at Campaign House across the week of the festival, with Campaign’s teams from the UK, US, Canada, Germany, India, Indonesia and Asia Pacific all taking part.

Highlights include “The future of advertising in flux”, a discussion between Campaign’s editors from around the world at 4.30pm, followed by welcome drinks at 6pm, on day one.

Luz Corona, editor of Campaign US, David Brown, co-editor of Campaign Canada, Nikita Mishra, editor of Campaign Asia, and McCabe, representing the UK, will take part in the session, which will be moderated by Spanier.

It is the first time that Campaign has had a dedicated venue at Cannes Lions. Canopy by Hilton Cannes is located on the west side of the port, overlooking the main festival venue, the Palais des Festivals.

Campaign’s sites around the world will be reporting on all the key news and winners of the Lions awards during the five-day event in the south of France.

Informa now runs Cannes Lions after acquiring parent company Ascential last year. Haymarket, the owner of Campaign, has a joint venture with Lions on Spikes Asia.

Campaign House will be open daily from 8am until 6pm from Monday 16 June to Thursday 19 June.
