Vikram Malhotra to join Balaji Motion Pictures

Vikram Malhotra has joined Balaji Motion Pictures as COO. Malhotra, who quit as marketing head of Kingfisher Airlines (UB group) in August  this year, will head the motion pictures division for the company.Though there is no official confirmation of the news yet, Campaign India has reliably learnt that Malhotra has officially started work as of today.Updates to follow.

Vikram Malhotra quits Kingfisher Airlines

Vikram Malhotra, head-marketing, Kingfisher Airlines (UB Group) has called it quits. This has been confirmed to Campaign India by reliable sources. However, there was no official comment at the time of filing this report.Malhotra's next destination is not known.Before this, Malhotra was group marketing manager at The UB Group. He has also worked as product manager at TATA Communications and as brand manager and national sales manager at SCJ India.

New Kingfisher outdoor campaign makes veiled dig at IndiGo

A new outdoor campaign launched by Kingfisher Airlines makes a veiled dig ostensibly at low cost carriers although Rediffusion Y&R, the agency that created the campaign denied that there is any obvious reference to IndiGo, maintaining that the ad is a tongue in cheek reference to all low cost carriers in the market.
