Amazon tells an endearing tale, of 'Endless' love

Watch the film conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather here

Amazon India has launched a film ahead of Valentine's Day, conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather.

The film is narrated by an old man, Felix Fernandes. Moving slowly from his room to the garden, he recounts that it was this day, many years ago, that he met his lady love. His team had won a game of hockey and the coach had invited them for a celebration dinner. Cynthia was the coach's daughter. Picking up a rose and placing it in a glass of water, he reminisces that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. The same night he met her, he understood the meaning of 'Love at first sight', says Fernandes. He gathered the courage and proposed to her with a song. Looking at his picture in uniform, he explains that her friends had told her that it was a big risk, as he was in the Navy and war was on. But he had already worked his charm on her, he smiles, turning to look at their wedding picture. He says he proved her friends wrong, having turned 100 this year.

The door bell rings and he gets a delivery from Amazon. Wearing his suit and tie, he combs his hair with the confession that he could never have made it this far without his beloved Cynthia. Placing a Valentine's Day note and rose in front of her picture, and also the gift he had ordered. He reveals that on this day each year, he sings the same song he proposed to her with, just to let her know that he feels the same way he did, the first time he saw her.

He starts singing, as a super pays an ode to 'Felix and the late Cynthia Fernandez, married for 63 years, 8 months and 6 days...and still in love.'

The film is being promoted with the #CelebratingEndlessLove.
