L’Oreal India onboards Raagjeet Garg 

L’Oreal India has announced the appointment of Raagjeet Garg as director—consumer products division (CPD). He will take over from Pankaj Sharma, who has been elevated to managing director- consumer products division, L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to this, Garg was business head—consumer products division at L’Oreal Vietnam. He was in charge of overseeing the launch of Garnier Men in India, having joined the Cosmetic conglomerate in May 2009. Subsequently, he went on to lead L’Oreal Paris in India where he developed the Ecommerce business for the brand, before moving on to a stint with L’Oreal Australia in 2019 as marketing director. 
 

Frodoh World welcomes Shamsuddin Jasani as strategic advisor
 
AdTech firm Frodoh World has onboarded industry veteran Shamsuddin Jasani as a strategic advisor. In addition to scaling the business and capitalising on emerging market opportunities, Jasani will help in the  teams expansion plans.  He will also play a pivotal role in the launch of Frodoh World’s Digital Retail Media platform.
 
Jasani last served as chief executive officer at Wunderman Thompson South Asia. He launched Isobar in India in August 2008 and was also a part of the board of Dentsu Aegis Network’s management in India. 
 

Disney Star elevates Abilasha Anish as head of marketing for Disney+ Hotstar (South) 

Disney Star has elevated Abilasha Anish as the head of marketing for Disney+ Hotstar (South) and Star Vijay. 
 
Anish has been with the network for the last five years, having joined it in 2019 as head of marketing for Star Vijay. In 2021, she also took charge for Disney+ Hotstar’s Tamil and Malayalam markets. 
 
Before joining Disney Star, she was the head-brand strategy and marketing for The Hindu. Earlier, she has also had stints with the Times Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers, FCB Interface and Butterfly. 

Crosshairs Communication bags PR mandate for L’Occitane
 
Crosshairs Communication has bagged the PR mandate for French Luxury skincare brand, L’Occitane en Provence in India. Crosshairs will be responsible for crafting and managing the brand’s launch, key messaging and updating relevant communication nationwide. The brand with a widespread global presence stands for creativity and sustainability and is Olivier Bausan’s vision of a brand for natural beauty products based on the power of plants, showcasing a commitment to authenticity and environmental responsibility.
 

Tavleen Bhatia joins Cleartrip as chief marketing and revenue officer 

Cleartrip, a Flipkart company, has announced the appointment of Tavleen Bhatia as its new chief marketing and revenue officer. As CMRO, she will spearhead Brand and Performance Marketing initiatives, as well as drive the central planning and growth charter at Cleartrip.

Bhatia joins Cleartrip from Flipkart, where she was the head of growth, marketing and monetization for Flipkart Mobiles.

With over 15 years of experience in strategic marketing and revenue generation, she has held various leadership roles in brands such as Lakme, Dove, and Sunsilk in Unilever.
