Goafest 2015: Creative Abbys: J. Walter Thompson stays on top; adds 14 on final day to end with 35 metals, including nine Golds

J. Walter Thompson added 14 metals to its tally on the third and final night of Goafest 2015, when results of the remaining categories of the Creative Abby competition were announced. Three of these were Gold, another three Silver and eight were Bronze. All three Gold wins were in the ‘Film Craft’ category for Nike Cricket’s ‘Make Every Yard Count’.

 

With these wins the agency’s total tally at this year's Creative Abbys  went up to 35 metals, including nine Gold, eight Silver and 18 Bronze Abbys. The agency was also the most awarded at Goafest 2014.

Contract Advertising bagged seven metals. Two of these were Gold, two were Silver and three were Bronze. The agency's Gold wins were in the ‘Film’ category for Tata Docomo. The agency’s total tally was up to 22, which consisted of four Gold, eight Silver and 10 Bronze Abbys.

 

DDB Mudra bagged two Gold, two Silver and two Bronze metals. The agency took its total tally up to 10 with these. It bagged Gold for Volkswagen in the ‘Print’ category and another in the 'OOH' category for Zee News’ ‘The Misunderstood Scoreboard’.  DDB Mudra’s final metal tally was of 10 with three Gold, five Silver and two Bronze Abbys.

 

Early Man Film bagged seven metals on the night, three of which were Gold. All three were in the ‘Film Craft’ category. Two were for 5-Star while the third was for Nescafe. The agency also bagged four Silver Abbys and a Bronze.

 

Cheil India bagged two Golds to take its Gold tally up to three. The Gold wins were for Salaam Balak Trust in the ‘Ambient Media’ category and for Halonix in the ‘OOH’ category. The agency also bagged two Bronze awards. Cheil’s total tally of eight included two Silver and three Bronze trophies.

 

Ideas@work bagged 10 metals on the night. This haul consisted of two Gold, two Silver and six Bronze Abbys. The Gold wins were for That's All Good and Rustomjee in the 'OOH' category.

 

Havas Worldwide bagged two Gold Abbys and a Silver on the night. The Gold wins were for Child Survival India in the ‘Ambient Media’ category. The agency ended with seven metals in all, which consisted of two Gold, three Silver and two Bronze awards.

 

TBWA\ Sri Lanka added a Gold to its tally of three. The win was for Ceylon Today and Mawbima National Newspapers in the 'Print' category. The agency ended with two Gold, one Silver and one Bronze Abby.

 

Famous Innovations bagged two Gold metals for Master's Imperial Publications in the ‘Ambient’ and ‘OOH’ categories. The agency also won Bronze.

 

Taproot Dentsu added to its tally of three from last night with 12 more wins. The agency bagged Gold in the ‘Design’ category for its entry ‘Madam’ for Mumbai Mirror. The agency also won six Silver and five Bronze Abbys.

 

Publicis Communications added to its three Bronze wins with a Gold, three Silver and six Bronze on the night to end with 12 metals. The Gold win was for Henko Stain Champion Detergent in the ‘OOH’ category.

 

AutumnWinter Communication & Design bagged Gold for Lawman PG3 in the ‘Design’ category. The agency also bagged three Silver and two Bronze Abbys on the night to take its tally up to eight.

 

Dentsu Webchutney bagged four metals, a Gold, a Silver and two Bronze Abbys. The Gold-winning work from the agency was ‘Happy Hours Rewind’ for Turquoise Cottage in the ‘Digital’ category.

 

FCB Ulka Advertising bagged a Gold and two Silver Abbys. The Gold was for work on Dignity Foundation in the ‘OOH’ category.

 

Rediffusion Y&R bagged a Gold, a Silver and five Bronze Abbys on the night. The Gold win was in the ‘OOH’category for 'PaperKraft - Ruled & Dotted'.

 

Code Red Films bagged a Gold, a Silver and a Bronze to end with three metals. The Gold win was for its entry ‘Its all about stories’ in the 'Design' category.

 

Eleven:43 bagged a Gold and a Silver at the final awards ceremony of Goafest 2015. The Gold was for work on Q'Exhibition in the 'OOH' category.
