Goafest names Sidharth Rao as jury chairperson, Interactive Digital

Goafest has announced Sidharth Rao as jury chairperson for the Interactive Digital category, for the Creative Abby awards. Rao is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Webchutney. Speaking about his appointment, Ajay Chandwani, director, Percept and chairman, Creative Abbys said, "Sidharth has been a pioneer in digital creative and an integral part of the Creative Abbys digital jury in the past. His work has won him several awards including Abbys at Goafest."

Goafest has announced Sidharth Rao as jury chairperson for the Interactive Digital category, for the Creative Abby awards. Rao is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Webchutney.

Speaking about his appointment, Ajay Chandwani, director, Percept and chairman, Creative Abbys said, "Sidharth has been a pioneer in digital creative and an integral part of the Creative Abbys digital jury in the past. His work has won him several awards including Abbys at Goafest."

He added, “With so many new developments in digital creative, we have added new sub- categories in Digital at Creative Abbys like the use of social media, branded content and gaming, online video and virals, wap sites etc. Sidharth will bring his knowledge of this space to this exciting new medium. We are delighted to have Sidharth chair the Interactive Digital Jury at Goafest this year.”

With this announcement, Goafest has announced all the jury chairpersons for the Creative Abby awards as follows:

- KV Sridhar is jury chairman for Print category

- Piyush Pandey is jury chairman for Integrated category

- Agnello Dias is jury chairman for Film category   

- Bobby Pawar is jury president for OOH and Ambient category

- Josy Paul is jury chairman for Radio category

- Elsie Nanji is jury chairperson for Design category

- Prakash Varma, Ramesh Iyengar are jury chairpersons for Film Craft and Director categories, respectively.
 
The Creative Abby awards will be held on April 10, 2010.
