Ambika Soni is the new Information and Broadcasting minister in the newly constituted cabinet. Soni (pictured) has earlier served as the minister for Tourism and minister of Culture in the previous UPA Government.Mohan Jatua and Dr. S Jagathrakshakan are the two ministers of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

NDTV has launched a campaign '7 Wonders of India', in alliance with the Ministry of Tourism's 'Incredible India' campaign. The campaign will feature the seven best natural and man-made buildings in the country.The campaign will also provide a platform for the citizens of India to choose the 'wonders' in their state. It will launch in September 2008 and will be held over a period of one year. A series of features on nominated heritage properties will be telecast on NDTV. The activity will be highlighted through a mass-media campaign.
