Colors keeps spotlight on content line-up in 2009
Colors has announced their content line-up for 2009, which includes both fiction and non-fiction formats. The big ticket shows among these will be Fear Factor Khatron ke Khiladi Level two, India's Got Talent and the third season of Big Boss.Besides these, there is also Is Des Na Aana Laado, Koi Aane Ko Hai, Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan and Mere Ghar Aaye Ek Nanhi Paree.
STAR Plus, Colors continue domination
STAR Plus (297 GRPs) and Colors (260 GRPs) continued to rule the GEC roost according to data from TAM for week 2, 2009.Colors' fiction programming continued to perform well with Balika Vadhu averaging 8.4, Jai Shri Krishna averaging 6 and Uttaran averaging 3.7.Zee was uncrowded in third place with 196 GRPs.Other performances include Sony (85 GRPs), STAR One (73 GRPs) and NDTV Imagine (67 GRPs).
Colors announces new programming line-up
Colors has announced a new season of original programming which includes two new fiction soaps, two format shows and movies.Premiering on December 1, the two fiction soaps will replace the big-budget, high decibel format reality show, Big Boss. 'Uttaran', scheduled from Monday to Thursday at 10.00 pm, tells a story of an underprivileged girl 'Ichcha', who desires more than what her destiny has in store. It will be followed by 'Jaane Kya Baat Hui', at 10.30 on week-days (except Friday) that details women adultery in marriage.
