The One Club has announced the induction of ad veteran Jerry Della Femina, chairman and CEO, Della Femina Rothschild Jeary & Partners into its Creative Hall of Fame. This is the first time since 1972 that the non profit organization has bestowed this honor to a solo recipient.
One Club to launch award show on branded entertainment
Ad Industry creatives can now add Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils to the list of entertainment industry awards. The one Club has announced “The First Annual One Show Entertainment Awards” which will recognize outstanding creative achievements by brands in the realm of entertainment. The event is set to take place in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, October 7, 2008.

The One Show awards that took place on Wednesday night at the Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York's bustling Broadway area, was a meeting ground for creative directors, suits, advertising legends and bright eyed junior copywriters, besides international press folks like us, who all came together to attend the 2008 One show Awards night. The evening began with a cocktail reception at the VIP room at the Lincoln Center, where we spotted host One Club's Mary Warlick, Kevin Swanepoel and David Baldwin chatting up the guests.
