Colors clawed its way back to the number one spot, delivering 288 GRPs (week 18, TAM, HSM, CS 4+), just ahead of STAR Plus with 286 GRPs. Zee was breathing down their backs with 279 GRPs. Zee creeps up on STAR Plus
Zee TV closed in on leader STAR Plus in week 17 with 284 GRPs (TAM, HSM, CS 4+), just 14 GRPs behind STAR Plus at 298 GRPs.Colors made the lead pack crowded with 276 GRPs.Sony was at 146 GRPs, Imagine at 97 and SAB TV at 74 GRPs.The next week should see more volatility, given the end of IPL season 3 and the rash of new shows on almost all the GECs.
STAR Plus stays ahead
STAR Plus remained top of the heap with 317 GRPs (Week 16, TAM, HSM, CS4+) while Colors and Zee TV were locked in second place with 268 GRPs each. For the record, Colors was marginally ahead with 268.5 GRPs with Zee at 268.2 GRPs.Sony was at 156 GRPs, Imagine on 101 and Sab TV on 76.
Breaking news: Imagine TV announces internal restructuring
Imagine TV, formerly NDTV Imagine, which is now owned by Turner General Entertainment Networks (TGEN), has announced a restructuring and streamlining of its different businesses. Turner bought NDTV Imagine in December 2009.
Colors slips to #3
STAR Plus remained in the number one slot in the GEC stakes with 319 GRPs (Week 15, TAM, HSM, CS 4+) as Colors slipped to the unfamiliar number three position with 258 GRPs.Zee was in the second slot with 260 GRPs.Sony was at 146 GRPs, Imagine at 96 GRPs and SAB at 78 GRPs.
STAR Plus and Colors remain 1, 2
STAR Plus remained in the leader's slot in the GEC stakes, delivering 314 GRPs (Week 13, TAM, HSM), ahead of Colors with 281 GRPs. Zee was at 257 GRPs, Sony at 127 GRPs, Imagine at 90 GRPs and SAB TV at 83 GRPs. Track GEC ratings in 2010:
