UPDATED: Exclusive interview with Nigel Bogle on Publicis' BBH acquisition
GLOBAL - Publicis Groupe has acquired the Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) network from founders Nigel Bogle and Sir John Hegarty and their partners, but the agency famous for its black sheep icon and "When the world zigs, zag" mentality will retain its independent streak even as it becomes a wholly owned subsidiary, Bogle told Campaign Asia-Pacific this afternoon.
BBH and Levi Strauss part ways
After 28 years of working together, BBH and Levi Strauss & Co have announced a parting of ways. Nigel Bogle, co-founder and group chairman of BBH, acknowledged the important part that Levi’s has played in the BBH story, since the agency’s London division won the account as a founding client in 1982. “We feel it is best that we part company, which we do on good terms. We wish Levi Strauss & Co. all the very best for the future. It has been a privilege to work on this iconic brand,” he said.
