Mindshare, Maxus make it 1,2 at Emvies

It was déjà vu as the jubilant Mindshare team did the victory dance on stage after being awarded Media Agency of the Year at The Advertising Club Bombay’s Emvies 2009. Mindshare won the crown for the second consecutive time after winning two golds, four silvers and six bronze metals notching up 100 points in the final tally.Mindshare struck gold for Best Media Innovation in two categories – in Events, for Wheel’s Touring Talkies Jatra and in Digital for Axe Dark Temptation.

Emvies 2009 case studies: Day one

A total of 25 Emvies case studies were presented in front of a packed auditorium in the first of the two-day long case study presentations. The remaining 34 will be presented on Monday, 17 August. These entries are all competing for the title of ‘Best Case Study Presentation’ to be awarded at the EMVIES awards night on Friday.

McCann Erickson has created a new campaign for TVC Motors, to promote its Scooty Streak. Featuring TVS Scooty's brand ambassador Sania Mirza, the commercial highlights the main features of the two-wheeler.Elaborating on the campaign, Anil Thomas, creative head, McCann Erickson said, "The brief we received was to communicate that the New Scooty Streak comes with features that make it very easy to ride and is stylish to boot."
