TBWA’s Shiv Sethuraman to report to Philip Brett

TBWA has announced significant changes to its regional management structure for the Asia Pacific region.Philip Brett (pictured) has been promoted to president – South East Asia, and will oversee these rapidly growing markets including India. Brett will maintain his responsibilities as the chairman of TBWA\TEQUILA Singapore, and regional managing director of TEQUILA in Asia Pacific.TBWA India CEO Shiv Sethuraman will, under the reorganization, report to Brett.

TBWA’s Shiv Sethuraman to report to Philip Brett

TBWA has announced significant changes to its regional management structure for the Asia Pacific region.

Philip Brett (pictured) has been promoted to president – South East Asia, and will oversee these rapidly growing markets including India. Brett will maintain his responsibilities as the chairman of TBWA\TEQUILA Singapore, and regional managing director of TEQUILA in Asia Pacific.

TBWA India CEO Shiv Sethuraman will, under the reorganization, report to Brett.

China, Japan, Korea and Australia/NZ will continue to report directly to Keith Smith, president – International TBWA\Worldwide.

Alain Rhone has rejoined the network after four years, working for the holding company Omnicom. He rejoins in the newly created position of chief operating officer of TBWA\Asia Pacific where he will have wide-ranging responsibilities including commercial development, acquisitions, talent management.

Ian Thubron, executive vice-president TBWA\Asia Pacific, has been given the responsibility for helping to grow TBWA Global clients in the Asia Pacific region and will additionally liaise with the global network on new business support. He will also maintain his responsibilities as chief executive officer of TBWA\Hong Kong.

Darren Jackson has been promoted to become chief financial officer for the region after serving as financial controller in Asia Pacific for the past six years.

Smith said, “Our speed of growth in Asia Pacific over the past few years has made it important to further strengthen the regional team.  I am confident that this management team will continue our progress through 2009 and beyond.”
