Colvyn Harris rubbishes ET report
Colvyn Harris, chairman, Goafest 2010 has rubbished the report in The Economic Times about the controversy surrounding the Goafest winners and the metals that are to be withdrawn from agencies. Earlier in the day, Campaign India asked officials involved to come out with a statement that clarifies the exact details of the issue.
Anant’s blog: Breaking news: ET to break Cannes winners
Dear ET, You’re so cool. You’ve broken the Abby’s winners once again. As is ‘almost traditional’ with you, as you say.I didn’t know two or three years constituted tradition, but perhaps times have changed. I thought it took longer than that, traditionally, for something to become traditional.I digress.I’m so besotted with your ability to break important news such as this that I feel, as a fan, I have the right to request more from you.
Anant's blog: Oops, they did it again
The Economic Times broke the Abbys winners on the front page, just as they did last year. Well done, ET.I only wish you were as efficient and persevering and farseeing in your core areas (the market capitalisation lost in the 480 point drop in the Sensex yesterday is bigger than the entire advertising and media industries). So I wish you could have told us, last June, that the Sensex would tank to the 6000 mark.I wish you could have warned us, last June, that the dollar would hit Rs. 50.
