Colors closes gap; STAR Plus still well in front
Despite a better showing by STAR Plus (336 GRPs compared to previous week's 315 GRPs) in week 22, Colors closed the gap to 41 GRPs with an improved showing as well (295 GRPs compared to 264 GRPs in week 21). Colors clawed its way back to the number one spot, delivering 288 GRPs (week 18, TAM, HSM, CS 4+), just ahead of STAR Plus with 286 GRPs. Zee was breathing down their backs with 279 GRPs. Rameet Arora, marketing head of Colors, has put in his papers.Arora joined Colors' founding team in April 2008 and since then has spearheaded the marketing for the channel, overseeing all the marketing verticals – trade as well as consumer. He will be serving his notice period over the next 3 months.
