Ching's Secret turns to Rohit Shetty masala, to sell 'Desi Chinese'

Watch the five-minute film produced by YRF Talent here

After a teaser for 'Ranveer Ching Returns' unveiled on 10 August, Capital Foods unveiled the five-minute film featuring brand ambassador and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, directed by Bollywood A-Lister Rohit Shetty, for its brand Ching's Secret. YRF Talent was creative producer.

The film, which also employs other Bollywood talent including leading lady Tamannah Bhatia, lyricist Gulzar and choreographer Ganesh Acharya, went live on 19 August and has garnered close to 6.5 million views on the official YouTube channel as of 11 am on 25 August.

Set in what remains of a place ravaged by war, it features Singh playing Ranveer Ching, saving the day for the remaining inhabitants with his stunts, and bringing with him Ching's Secret to feed all of them. Replete with song and dance, it ends with a reveal of the secret to Singh's strength: 'Desi Chinese, because Ching is King'.

The brand thus builds on the 'My Name is Ranveer Ching' franchise it created in end-2014 in multiple languages, featuring Singh.
