Partner Content: Spread the love: Share a Lipton Ice Tea with a Traffic Cop

The brand decided to ease their stress, so they can ease yours

We have all been stuck in traffic jams that made us wish that we were sitting at home. The stress of being stuck in traffic just kills the pleasure of reaching the destination. Many have just taken a U-turn and returned home. Construction work, unruly drivers and a broken down vehicle are just some examples of the troubles we face while driving on our roads.

For every troublemaker on the streets, we have superheroes who try their best to help you get to your destination on time. These heroes don’t wear capes and come out at night, but instead wear uniforms, work in broad daylight and are never appreciated or even thanked. These guys come to work day in, day out and no matter what, they get the job done. We are talking about your local traffic cop. While we enjoy taking breaks and chatting with our office buddies, these men and women just cannot. No breaks and no relief is part of their daily routine.

Being stuck in a traffic jam in the comfort of your air conditioned car doesn’t sound as bad as standing in the scorching sun, trying to clear a bunch of unruly drivers. Being a traffic cop is a thankless job and many drivers even hurl abuses at them. We believe it’s time for change. It’s time to start appreciating these men and women and it’s time to spread happiness. Lipton has come up with an ingenious initiative, #RefreshSmiles, where they have sworn to bring a smile to the face of these hardworking men and women.

They are spreading love by sharing a cool refreshing Lipton Ice tea with the traffic policemen and women, while they continue on duty. Lipton decided to ease their stress, so they can ease yours!
