Suhana scripts daughter's Diwali homecoming

Watch the film conceptualised by Brand Pickle here

Suhana has rolled out a film ahead of Diwali, conceptualised by Brand Pickle.

The digital film of around three minutes, in Marathi, tells the story of a man and his daughter working abroad. This is her first Diwali away from home. She sends him an e-mail after receiving a parcel of sweets and snacks from him. She narrates how she loved everything and shared it with colleagues, who are crazy about Indian food. As the e-mail goes on, it is revealed that she preferred e-mail over a video call because she feared she would break down. She explains how she misses him, and wonders, 'How can Diwali ever fit in a parcel?' Her father is in tears when the door bell rings. She is at the door.

The film was published online on 26 October 2016.
