A year of ups and down on the people front, with churn at the second-tier, but still a manforce increase of 10%, necessitated by a slew of medium-sized business wins. The biggest win, though, is not mindsized and one that the agency does not confirm at all: Reckitt Benckiser. There is still no clarity on the revenue model, but Campaign India understands that ZO has started work on RB. There has been no major loss save the Hyundai account and RB account is one that should more than compensate for the loss.

The agency has gone through a buzzing 2010. Key business like Nestle and Uninor have been consolidated. The ZO Group has seen the meteoric growth of the local mobile handset manufacturers. The Hyundai realignment in India was nearly 6 months post the global transition. Mumbai and Zed Digital has seen new team, new clients and have registered more than 100% growth.

The new wins have been across future growth categories. Apart from an extremely supportive global network, ZO leadership team has seen a strong and stable one. And critically the Vivaki services and sacle has added both capability and scale especially in the digital and mobile space. The Vivaki exchange has continued to add value back to the clients in terms of media competitiveness in the market place and possibilites of creating new and innovative media ideas and executions. 
Reinforcement of the strategic resources team and the Newcast team is a step in providing the clients more accountable cut through solutions and archieve higher RoI. This is refected in ZO growth by a market multiple.
