Tanishq tackles discounted gift giving with simple father daughter tale

Watch the film conceptualised by Lowe Lintas and Partners here

Tanishq has rolled out an ad film conceptualised by Lowe Lintas and Partners  as it looks to tackle the subject of discounted gift giving.

The film, tells the simple tale of a father gifting something special to his daughter.
As the daughter sits quietly in her room reading a book, her father tiptoes in and asks her if it’s okay to gift a friend something that has been bought at a discounted price.

The daughter, who’s enjoying some ice cream, reiterates that a gift shouldn’t be about the money, but about the thought.

The daughter offers the father some of her ice cream and he takes it as he sits closer to her. Before he takes a bite, he gives a box of Tanishq jewellery to his daughter, who in turn  lovingly hugs the father.

The film ends with a super and voiceover saying, ‘lekin pyaar mein koi kami nahi’ (no compromise on love) reminding the audience about Tanishq is offering 20 per cent off diamonds.
