130 entries from 16 countries compete at Appies 2013

The awards are scheduled for 15 and 16 August in Singapore

130 entries from 16 countries compete at Appies 2013

A hundred and thirty entries from 16 Asian countries are in the race at the Appies 2013 competition. Ten marketing success stories from amongst these will go on to win Appies Gold medals at the awards scheduled for 15 and 16 August in Singapore.

Countries that have sent entries to Appies 2013 are New Zealand, South Korea, Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Goh Shu Fen, chairperson, Appies, co-founder and principal of R3, said, “Record numbers aside, we are more delighted to have some sterling brands and marketers on board as presenters and judges. You can look forward to two very inspiring days indeed.”

The awards will be judged by 35 marketing heads. The Appies are organised by the Institute of Advertising Singapore (IAS).
