Joydeep Mukherjee appointed CMO at myClassroom
Ed-Tech company myClassroom has announced the appointment of Joydeep Mukherjee as chief marketing officer. He moves from Airtel DTH where he was head - marketing.
 
Prashant Sharma, co-founder and Director, myClassroom, said, “The edtech industry is at a pivotal point in its evolution. The recent Covid-19 crisis brought out the importance of Phygital (physical plus digital) learning models that enrich traditional learning models and have the power to deliver top-quality education, to any student, in any part of the country by leveraging technology.”
 
He added, "Joydeep is a highly experienced and much-admired marketing leader with a proven track record of building brands and designing high-impact marketing strategies, which made him a natural addition to our leadership team. “He has a very good understanding of the higher education landscape and Indian consumer behavior, along with strong expertise in customer acquisition and customer lifecycle management. We feel we found the right person in Joydeep, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the team."

In a career spanning more than 15 years he has also worked with Wipro and Mindtree.
