Win follows a multi-agency pitch; agency to 'stay invested' in Chennai market

Lowe Lintas bags Apollo Hospitals’ creative duties

 

Following a multi-agency pitch, Lowe Lintas, Chennai, has bagged the creative duties of Apollo Hospitals. 
 
The mandate will cover all Apollo's healthcare verticals (barring insurance). Lowe Lintas will be responsible for integrating national and regional initiatives which will enable the brand to take a unified approach in its communications.
 
The agency has already executed a campaign for Oncology-related robotic surgery which is currently running in key markets, according to an official statement.
 
GV Krishnan, executive director Lowe Lintas, said, "We are delighted to manage the mandate of this prestigious institution, a pioneer in healthcare, and wish to make brand Apollo a preferred choice in its category."
 
Commenting on the tendency of Chennai-based clients looking elsewhere for strategic and creative talent, Krishnan said, "We have, over the past year and a half, worked on a model wherein the Bangalore and Chennai offices work in tandem to deliver to our brands and clients' expectations. With support from Bangalore on key strategic issues, we have been able to provide our key clients the best of both."
 
Going forward, the agency plans to invest 'significantly' to its already strong manpower and infrastructure in Chennai.
 
Joseph George, CEO, said, "Contrary to belief, the Chennai market does offer a significant and challenging mandates for ad agencies which are willing to take the effort and stay invested, and this win is proof of it."
 
Lowe Lintas Chennai bagged Daimler-Benz and Amrutanjan in 2012.
