Madhukar Kamath is AAAI's president again

Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) has re-elected Madhukar Kamath (pictured), managing director and CEO, Mudra Communications, as its president for 2008-09. The decision was taken at the annual general body meeting of AAAI held in Mumbai on July 22. JWT's CEO Colvyn Harris has been elected as the vice-president.

Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) has re-elected Madhukar Kamath (pictured), managing director and CEO, Mudra Communications, as its president for 2008-09. The decision was taken at the annual general body meeting of AAAI held in Mumbai on July 22. JWT's CEO Colvyn Harris has been elected as the vice-president.

The members elected for the Executive Committee include Jagdip Bakshi of Contract Advertising, Kunal Lalani of Crayons Advertising, MG Parameswaran of DraftFCB Ulka, Nagesh Alai of Interface Communications, Neville Gomes of Multimedia Aquarius, Prasoon Joshi of McCann Erickson, Pranav Premnarayen of Prem Associates Advertising & Marketing, Rajeev Ruia of Overture Communications, Sam Balsara of Madison Communications, Sudhir P Ghate of Magnum Intergrafiks, Suman Srivastava of Euro RSCG, Surajit Nag of Advertising & Sales Promotion Company, Tapas Gupta of BEI Confluence; and Vinod Nair of Network Advertising. Srinivasan K Swamy of RK Swamy BBDO is the ex-officio member of the new AAAI Executive Committee.
