MakeMyTrip exposes mind of a married man, highlights ease of booking with mobile app
MakeMyTrip has launched a new ad film which highlights the ease of bookings and cancellations through the travel portal's mobile app. The TVC has been conceptualised by FCB Ulka and was launched on 15 August.

A man shaves while his wife is busy packing his things for a journey. When she tries to reason that they (she and her kids) could come along, he retorts curtly that he isn’t going on holiday but to work. When she asks about the swimming trunks he’s taking along, he tells her to simply ‘keep it’. No sooner than he finishes saying this, his young son walks towards him with his mobile saying he’s got a call. He asks the boy to put the call on speaker. The man on the other end of the line says that his wife too thinks they’re going on a business trip. He gushes indicating how excited he is about the fun trip they’re going on. He casts a worried glance at his wife, who is far from amused. A voice over explains the ease of making cancellations and bookings as and when one decides with MakeMyTrip’s mobile app. The scene shifts to the family on the trip together. As they ride a merry-go-round, the wife tauntingly asks the man if he's having fun. The film ends with the voice over  'Plan jab, booking tab'.

Mohit Gupta, chief business and marketing officer, MakeMyTrip, said, “Mobile is the perfect channel for a travel company to provide real value to the customer and create higher engagement by enabling an easy travel-booking experience. Mobile provides a smoother user experience, increased personalisation and allows faster access to relevant information. The film exhibits how MakeMyTrip mobile app provides instant bookings and cancellations of flights and hotels from anywhere.”
