Newly created position spells focus on data and analytics; Pandey joined the agency in end-2014

Maxus Apac names Sandeep Pandey effectiveness head
Maxus Apac has appointed Sandeep Pandey as the agency’s effectiveness head for the region. The position has been newly created and he will be based at the agency’s Delhi office. His mandate is to further develop the agency’s data and analytics abilities.
 
He would be would be responsible for ‘conceptualising, designing and managing the delivery of advanced data-integration, dashboarding and visualisation solutions’, an agency statement said.  
 
Pandey joined Maxus in the last quarter of 2014.
 
On the new mandate, he said, “I have worked with GroupM for almost 10 years and really like the space we have captured in data and analytics. I am very impressed by the Maxus brand. In my new role I am excited about working with teams across markets to strengthen our effectiveness (data and analytics) practice for our clients. This role gives me the opportunity to work across a wide spectrum of clients, cultures and markets and this is what I look for in my job. Maxus' hunger to grow with effectiveness at its center would help me drive this practice for clients everyday. I am extremely happy and thrilled with this responsibility and hope to make a significant difference to the Maxus offering.”
 
Ajit Varghese, CEO, Maxus Asia Pacific, added, “In all the years that I have known Sandeep, he is an experienced professional, a keen practitioner in the data and analytics space and extremely focused on client delight. He is already made a huge difference to the Maxus team and product in the few months he has been here.
