MMGB: FIFA World Cup advertising campaigns

Films from adidas, Beats by Dr Dre and Nike stand out

MMGB: FIFA World Cup advertising campaigns
In all probability you don't need to be reminded that we are in the week that the FIFA World Cup kicks off.

But in the off chance that it slipped off, these ads around the tournament give you a timely reminder and also help get rid of the gloom around you this morning.

Conceptualised by Wieden + Kennedy, Nike's film ahead of this year's tournament features its current stars Neymar Jr, Philippe Coutinho and Willian among others. But there's another familiar face from yesteryear, Ronaldo.

adidas has brought together 56 of the 'world's most influential creators' including Leo Messi, Caroline Wozniacki, Pharrell Williams, Mohamed Salah, Luis Suarez, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Paul Pogba amd Roberto Firmino among others in its ‘Creativity Is The Answer' campaign conceptualised by 72andSunny.

Another heavy duty cast that includes Harry Kane, Neymar Jr, Mesut Ozil and Benjamin Mendy with cameos from brand endorsers like Serena Williams, Thierry Henry and Eden Hazard among others, this Guy Ritchie film for Beats by Dr Dre shows the obstacles these stars faced in their career. It also showcases an obstacle a young Russian child is facing.
