MySpace India has announced the appointment of Amit Koshal as senior business development manager - mobile. In his new role, Koshal (pictured) will spearhead the mobile strategy for MySpace India. Prior to this appointment, he was working with ACL Wireless as head of business development for Asia Pacific and Latin America.
Speaking about Koshal's appointment, Hari V Krishnan, country manager, MySpace India said, “Mobile access to MySpace has been our global focus and in India we feel it will be even more pivotal. We are thrilled to have Amit onboard with his vast experience in the mobile VAS space. With his leadership, we look forward to building out an exciting range of mobile offerings which will redefine the mobile social networking space in India.”
Added Koshal, "I am very excited to be a part of an innovative global brand like MySpace which is making great progress in India already. My focus in the near future would be to support this growth with mobile initiatives which will enrich the overall user experience.”
Koshal brings with him over five years of experience in Mobile VAS like content and gaming, with a specialisation in the field of social networking services. He has previously also worked for Jump Games, where he was responsible for partnerships and business development.
