New York Festivals 2015 Torch Awards open for entries

Entrants to create a 60-second video for ‘Subscription for Change’

New York Festivals 2015 Torch Awards open for entries
Entries are being invited for New York Festivals’ (World's Best Advertising) 2015 Torch Awards. The Awards are inviting creatives aged 18 to 25 to create a 60-second video.

New York Festivals has partnered with The Project Solution, an international non-profit organisation, for which the entrants will have to create a 60 second video promoting the organisation’s ‘Subscription for Change’ program. There is no entry fee for the Torch Awards. The entrants will have to form teams of two to four people.

On partnering The Project Solution, Alisun Armstrong, executive director, Torch Awards, said, “New York Festivals partnered with The Project Solution because we are impressed by their international reach and commitment to community, as well as their ability to funnel 100% of the donations received directly into their projects. And with entries and judges coming from more than 70 countries every year, the New York Festivals family extends to the four corners of the world; these projects have a very real, meaningful impact on individuals, yet affect us all.”

Five finalist teams will be invited to New York City to present their ideas post an intensive work session with their respective mentor, a member of the executive jury.

The submission deadline for the Awards is 13 March. The finalist teams will be announced on 9 April. The winning team will be announced live and will accept their trophy at the New York Show on 21 May.
