Taking its reader-customisation exercise forward, Outlook has unveiled four different covers along with different cover stories for its regional readers in the South: Kerala; Tamil Nadu; Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
“The exercise has been done to capture the election flavour for our regional readers. This is the third major reader-customisation exercise undertaken by Outlook using its third and new printing facility in Bangalore. While the first two efforts – in February and March this year – were reflected only on the cover of the magazine, this one goes the whole hog,” said Maheshwar Peri, publisher, Outlook.
Meanwhile Outlook readers in the North, East and West zones were served with the ‘Why has Manmohan Singh become so important’ cover. “Despite getting a local cover, Southern readers still got to sample the Manmohan Singh story in its entirety,” added Peri.
