Everest Brand Solutions’ national creative director, N Padmakumar (Paddy) has been appointed the national creative head for Rediffusion.
At Everest, he partnered with president, D. Rajappa in winning new businesses such as ACC Cement, Indian Overseas Bank, Tata Housing, Writer Corporation, Emami and T-Series among others.
Commenting on his role at Everest and his future role at Rediffusion, Paddy, said, “Working with Rajappa has been a truly rewarding experience. Our chemistry was terrific from the start and our outlook and attitudes matched perfectly. His clarity of purpose and steadiness rubbed off on me, adding great new weapons to my armoury. We’ve been comrades in adversity and in success, which makes us truly close. I will continue to glean insights and guidance from him.

On the move, D. Rajappa president, Everest Brand Solutions says, “Paddy and I have had a journey together that has been eventful all along, and it has been a pleasure working together. Padmakumar started his career at Lintas where he handled brands under Lever like Lifebuoy, Liril, Breeze and Rexona. He also worked with MTV where he was the brain behind “Fully Faltoo”, “Gone Case”, amongst others.
After that he moved to Lintas Sri Lanka and helped them win “Agency of the Year” for two years in succession as executive creative director. He moved back to India, this time to Lowe Delhi as creative head on the LG business.
After Lintas he moved to McCann Worldgroup Sri Lanka as executive creative director. While he was with McCann, he helped the agency win “Agency of the Year”.
