Taproot announces launch of SquareRoot Design

New vertical has been at work on Pepsico’s Atom and Marico’s SetWet, among others

Taproot announces launch of SquareRoot Design
Taproot India has announced the launch of a vertical, SquareRoot Design. Soft launched ‘few months’ ago, the vertical has created  work for Pepsi Atom, SetWet deos and gels (Marico), Kik Cola (Sri Lanka) and Sanjeev Kapoor's  range of Khazana products, informed an agency statement.

“The definition of advertising and marketing is changing, so is the definition of mediums be it TV, print or design. They have to blend in very well to push the brand in the new age market. Each medium is dependent on the other for impact of the brand; that's the reality today where design has started playing a major in India as well,” said Santosh Padhi, co-founder, Taproot India.

On the scope of work for the vertical, the agency said it would range from ‘defining a path to growth to creating a name, nomenclature, verbal and visual language, packaging, tangible retail engagement and viral content for the virtual world’.

Taproot has been taking on design projects and clients for some time now. Running the design vertical that has been officially launched now will be co-founders Padhi and Agnello Dias, with strategy led by Sammer Asth, who came on board Taproot India as head of business and strategy recently.
