Videocon assigns creative duties of three businesses to Rediffusion Y&R
Rediffusion Y&R has won the creative mandate for Videocon's telecom, mobile handsets and flat panel display businesses. An official statement informed that the size of the account is above Rs 150 cr. The account will be handled by the agency’s Delhi office.
 
The account was won following a multi-agency pitch.
 
Prior to this, McCann's TAG was handling the mobile handset business while JWT was handling the others.
 
Amitava Sinha, COO, Rediffusion Y&R, said, "This year we had consciously focused on rebuilding our Delhi office and I am happy to say that we have tripled our business base already. Our wins this year span an interesting range of advertisers from the emerging first timers to creatively exciting categories like fashion , travel , technology. The icing of course is the huge Videocon engagement, a brand we have all grown up with."
