STAR and Jupiter Entertainment Ventures has announced the formation of STAR Jupiter Entertainment Television Limited (STAR Jupiter), a joint venture which will tap into the Tamil television market.
Jupiter Entertainment rejigs senior management team
Jupiter Entertainment Ventures, the parent company of Radio Indigo 91.9 FM and The Bengaluru Pages magazine, has announced important changes in the senior management team. K Sanjay Prabhu, chief operating officer - Radio Indigo and publisher - Bengaluru Pages has been elevated to the position of managing director.
STAR, Asianet in talks
STAR India is reportedly in discussions in an attempt to acquire a majority stake in southern satellite television broadcaster, Asianet Communications. According to sources, negotiations are underway between STAR India and the Rajeev Chandrashekhar-led Jupiter Entertainment, but both the parties have declined to comment as of now. However, Campaign India understands that Star’s chief executive Paul Aiello was in Bangalore on Monday. The Star India team for the negotiations is spearheaded by Ajay Vidyasagar, president, content and new media, Star India.
