Future Brands ropes in Alpana Parida as president of DMA
Future Brands has appointed Alpana Parida as the president of DMA, a strategic branding and design firm it acquired last year. Parida's last assignment was with Tanishq as head - marketing and merchandising.At DMA, Alpana’s long term responsibility would be to fuel growth and create scale for the business. A management graduate from IIM Ahmedabad, she has previously worked with Rediffusion Y&R, Titan among others.
STAR India and Prakash Books get into comic book biz
STAR India has tied up with Prakash Books India to launch a set of comic books based on popular shows and characters on the STAR network. The serials that have been converted into comics include Dharti Ka Veer Yodha - Prithviraj Chauhan; Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai, Naya Office Office (see picture); Antariksh and Son Pari.
