StarcomIP bags Tata Indicom mandate
Starcom IP has bagged the digital marketing mandate for Tata Indicom. The agency has started working with Tata Indicom with immediate effect and is responsible for online media planning and buying, establishing Tata Teleservices' presence in the social media, and online reputation management. The team is led by Suyesh Shankar, national strategy director, Starcom IP, India.

Tata Teleservices has come out with two new TV commercials that emphasize the digital voice clarity on the Tata Indicom network.The TVCs created by Contract Advertising are a study in observation of the various emotional shades behind every kind of laugh and every breath we take. Both films – shot as black and white montages with a deep baritone voiceover - have been shot by Ram Madhwani.
Tata Indicom's latest campaign promotes 'Pay Per Call' offering
Tata Indicom has rolled out its latest brand communication to announce the the launch of its latest offering, Pay Per Call. The campaign has been created by the telecom brand's AoR, Contract Advertising.Speaking to Campaign India, Raghu Bhat, executive creative director, Contract Advertising says, "The brief we received was to announce the launch of Tata Indicom's Par Per Call plan. It is a game-changing offer; earlier the customer would be billed regardless of the call duration. Hence, the number of minutes simply would not matter."
Tata Photon+ campaign marries speed with portability
Tata Indicom has launched a new campaign for its mobile broadband service Tata Photon+, created by Contract Advertising. Based around the creative proposition of 'carrying speed in one’s pocket', the new commercial opens on a voiceover asking people what they are carrying with them on that particular day. The spot then goes on to feature a series of montage shots with people from different age groups talking about what they carry along with themselves, on a typical day. The people respond by talking about what it is that they carry with themselves.
Tata Teleservices Maharashtra empanels OMI, Navia Asia
Tata Teleservices Maharashtra has empanelled Outdoor Media Integrated (a division of Laqshya Media) and Navia Asia as its outdoor media agencies to launch its GSM service Tata DOCOMO. It has also awarded media duties to Square Circle Outdoors for Out-of-Home (OOH) solutions for Brand Tata Indicom.OMI will handle the Maharashtra market (excluding Mumbai) and Goa. Navia Asia will work for the Mumbai market. The agencies will look into the planning, buying and executing of outdoor media solutions for TTML’s soon-to-be-launched GSM business.
