Cleartrip lures users showing 'Lots happening', with 'Local' app

Watch the ad film conceptualised by Mullen Lintas here

Cleartrip recently announced the launch of 'Local', a service on its mobile app covering activities including eating out, events and fitness. Now, a TVC conceptualised by Mullen Lintas has been rolled out for the same.

The film opens with a man on a scooter at a signal, dressed in office attire. Soon, he is surrounded by commuters in karts. As he looks on, surprised, the karts overtake him and drive by. A soundtrack captures his thoughts: "What's happening?" Still at the signal, he's shocked to see a man in a raft wade across the road. Inside a building elevator, he sees a young woman engaged in pottery. In office, he peers through the window to see a group of people hanging upside down in some kind of a yoga pose. The last scenario features a couple engaged in a candle-light dinner with a saxophonist to boot, right next to the bed in which the protagonist is bundled in a blanket. The film ends with a voice over saying, 'Wondering what's happening around you? With the new Cleartrip Local app, there's lots happening in your city. Just pick, click and book'. The app promises over 1,000 activities in the city.

The film went live on social media on 8 July 2016.
