Galaxy Note 4 features help a dad keep his promises

Watch the film conceptualised by Cheil Wordwide here

Samsung has rolled out an ad film as part of the launch campaign for the Galaxy Note 4. The film has been conceptualised by Cheil Worldwide and was released on 18 November.

The film begins with a father hurriedly getting his daughter ready for school. He makes her breakfast and makes her hair. As they are about to leave for school, he hurriedly rushes back in to the house to get his phone as his daughter waits for him at the door. The film cuts to the girl's school, where she is taking part in the annual art day celebrations. As the father tries to spend some quality time with his daughter, he is told that he has a office presentation today. Calmly, he tells his colleagues that the presentation could happen. The father goes on to spend the entire day with his daughter, doing everything she wants but also manages to get his work done using his Galaxy Note 4.

After a long day, the two rush into office where he plugs his phone into the projector and begins his presentation. The film is set to a song that is being sung by the young girl to her father.

Nima DT Namchu, chief creative officer, Cheil Worldwide SW Asia, said, “As shown in Samsung Galaxy Note 4 TVC, we prefer to look at life as a web of personal and professional relationships. It is about our accomplishments and how we strive for excellence in many different roles that we play every day”.

Anupama Ramaswamy, group creative director, Cheil Worldwide SW Asia, said,“When a technology brand starts talking about real issues that a consumer faces, we see the human side of the brand and it starts connecting with people. This film is just a simple depiction of one such issue solved by the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.”

Kundan Joshee, head integrated services, Cheil Worldwide, SW Asia added, “Technology is part of our everyday life and is dramatically changing the way we approach our life and the choices we make, via this campaign we have tried to show how technology can help us improve our lives and make more time for what we really want.”
