MS Dhoni scores a vaccination sixer through GSK

Watch the film conceptualised by Lowe Lintas here

GSK has rolled out a film featuring Mahendra Singh Dhoni, to raise awareness about the need for the 6 in 1 vaccination for infants.

Conceptualised by Lowe Lintas, the film shows Dhoni at a paediatrician's clinic, where his daughter in the film gets the 6 in 1 vaccine. The scene highlights Dhoni's surprise after hearing the doctor's verdict that the single injection grants protection against six different diseases.

Rashmi Hegde, executive vice president - medical affairs, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, said, “Every child should be vaccinated in a timely manner. Vaccines build children's immune memory and helps protect them from diseases. The 6 in 1 or hexavalent vaccine helps to protect infants against six serious diseases. 6 in 1 or the hexavalent vaccination has helped protect millions of infants in India and across the world, and has a proven record of safety and efficacy.”

The campaign will be active on TV, YouTube, a vaccination website, and across paediatricians’ clinics.
